Covid-19 Update

As the COVID-19 concerns continue, and Ohio’s Director of Health and Governor Mike DeWine has issued a Stay At Home Order for Ohioans, we want to update you on how we at SCANLON & ELLIOTT will operate to best serve you during this difficult time.

We will keep our office open following CDC guidelines for safety and social distancing. We take your legal matters, as well as your personal well-being, very seriously and aim to provide you with as much support as possible. Whenever possible we will meet with you via telephone, Skype or videoconference.

However, if we need to meet in person, we will do the following:

  • Designate six-foot distances, to ensure six-foot spacing for employees and customers.
  • Have hand sanitizer and other sanitizing products available for employees and customers.
  • Implement separate operating hours for elderly and vulnerable clients.

With an abundance of caution and concern for our clients, staff and community we are enacting these temporary measures to ensure safety for everyone. Unfortunately, there is going to be interruption that is going to be created through no fault of our own. We are already seeing trial dates, depositions, etc. continued.

We will keep you informed. Given today’s technology, our team can work remotely when necessary, while continuing to provide you the high-quality service you expect. Rest assured your legal needs are being handled with a minimum of interruption. We appreciate your understanding during these unprecedented times.
